Schwartzkopf highlighted the pageant’s platform breast cancer awareness and embraced it with All Forms of Cancer Awareness as well, when making appearances and worked on programs to benefit the cause.
Her major projects to benefit breast cancer awareness and all forms of cancer was her cap project called Carolyn’s Caps and United we Crown Caps helping out a few groups who have been involved with Relay for Life this summer.
The cap projects were dedicated to a close friend Schwartzkopf lost a couple years ago, Carolyn Dye from North Platte, Neb. The set of caps were in dedication to her sister who is a breast cancer survivor and a former Mrs. Washington America, as well as the pageant system that Schwartzkopf was representing, U.S. United, to form the name “United We Crown” caps.
Schwartzkopf is also a heart survivor. Schwartz-kopf is an image enhancement consultant/speaker, a make-up artist, personal style shopper and conducts modeling sessions for children to adults.
Schwartzkopf is also the creator of a project that she will expose across America this fall, encouraging children to color pictures on a daily basis. The project is called C.A.P.E. (Color Artistic Pages Everyday). This project will also be a part of the Make A Difference Day Program in October.
Schwartzkopf is married to Reed Schwartz-kopf and is planning to reside in Jamestown this fall. Schwartzkopf can be contacted by e-mail at ms2smile@hotmail.com or go to her Web site at www.thecolorpagecape.tecbox.com.
