Rebels down Bison in three games

Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal only needed three games to get past Barnes County North in Class B girls’ volleyball action Tuesday. The Rebels edged out the Bison 26-24 in Game 1, before winning the match 25-16 and 25-22 in the final two games.

Krista Readel led the Rebels with 10 assists and three ace serves. Kelly Carlson and Chantil Guthmiller also had solid games for P-B-K. Carlson ended the match with six kills, and two aces, while Guthmiller ended the night with five kills, two aces and four digs.

Jenae Kramlich, Cassandra Kunze, Leah Hook and Andrea McMillan all ended the night with two kills each to lead the Bison. Katie Fletcher led the Bison in assists with four, while Tiffany January totaled nine digs.
