Foundation reports record

The University of North Dakota Foundation says a record 13,226 people gave pledges and gifts to the foundation for the fiscal year that ended June 30.

GRAND FORKS (AP) — The University of North Dakota Foundation says a record 13,226 people gave pledges and gifts to the foundation for the fiscal year that ended June 30.

The foundation says it got $36 million in new gifts and pledges. It reports 12 gifts of $1 million or more.

The foundation says 39 new endowments were established to support students, programs and faculty members at UND.

The foundation reports assets totaling $224 million, up from $205 million last year.
