Police say Calif. fugitive arrested
Grand Forks police say they’ve arrested a man wanted in California on sex abuse charges. Authorities say 33-year-old Anthony Brian Foster is charged with eight felonies, including aggravated sexual assault of a child and ongoing sexual abuse of a child.
GRAND FORKS (AP) — Grand Forks police say they’ve arrested a man wanted in California on sex abuse charges.
Authorities say 33-year-old Anthony Brian Foster is charged with eight felonies, including aggravated sexual assault of a child and ongoing sexual abuse of a child.
Kings County Sheriff’s Cmdr Dave Putnam said the crimes allegedly occurred in June 2007 in Lemoore, Calif.
Grand Forks Police Lt. Grant Schiller said Kings County tipped police that Foster was in Grand Forks. Officers found out he was living in a downtown apartment and arrested him outside the apartment.
A Grand Forks County jail spokesman said Foster is being held on $250,000 bail.
