BISMARCK (AP) — Police say a man has been charged with burglary after he was found in a Burger King parking lot wearing a cap and jackets stolen from the fast-food chain.

Bail was set at $5,000 cash for 26-year-old Chad Rummel of Bismarck. Judge Sonna Anderson barred him from the grounds of the fast-food restaurant.

Police Sgt. Dwight Offerman said officers found a drive-through window at the business open about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, and found Rummel in the parking lot wearing Burger King clothing.

Offerman said Rummel had a Burger King ball cap, three Burger King jackets and a 12-pack of invisible tape taken from inside the business.

Authorities said Rummel was convicted earlier this month on a separate charge of possession of stolen property.
