CVHD holding flu shot clinics

Central Valley Health District has planned several clinics for giving flu shots. There will be a clinic for anyone age 18 or older from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 523 Fourth Ave. S.E. There will also be a family flu clinic from 3 to 6 p.m. Nov. 5-6 at the Central Valley Health office, 122 Second St. N.W.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend that all children between the ages of 6 months and 18 years, as well as any caretakers of children, get flu shots.

Central Valley Health also has a walk-in clinic for flu shots that is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. For more information, call the office at 252-8130.
