Buchanan named Musician of Month

Billie Buchanan, daughter of Albert and Kellie Buchan-an, has been selected as Jamestown Middle School’s Musician of the Month for September.

Billie Buchanan, daughter of Albert and Kellie Buchan-an, has been selected as Jamestown Middle School’s Musician of the Month for September.

Buchanan sings with the JMS Pops Choir, she is also one of the piano accompanists for the group. In addition, she is a member of the JMS 8th grade Band percussion section and the JMS Drumline. She also plays piano with the JMS Jazz Band. Musicians of the month are selected on the basis of their musical ability, work ethic and involvement in various music programs.
