Re-elect Klose, Kaiser to the County Commission
Experience during challenging times is a valuable resource. Voters should re-elect the incumbents for Stutsman County Commission, Mark Klose and Douglas Kaiser. Klose has served longer than any other current commissioner and that service brings a depth to the commission. Klose not only understands the complex issues associated with budgets, he also recognizes that relationships are an important part of governing. His experience in dealing with a variety of issues — economic development, roads, staffing and taxes — serve county residents well.

Kaiser, who is completing his first term, understands that roads are sorely under funded and that good roads must be maintained. He supports economic development efforts and recognizes county employees should have wages that keep pace with competing business.
Challenger Randy Williams agrees with Klose and Kaiser on wages for employees and the need for more funding for counties. He has said that taxes is where the county will get some help for the road problems. He may be right, but we think it will be a tough sell.
We believe experience is key as commissioners continue to face a deteriorating road situation and tight budgets. Re-elect Klose and Kaiser.
