Authorities identify hunter killed Friday
ansom County authorities have released the name of a man killed in a hunting accident near Lisbon.
LISBON, N.D. (AP) — Ransom County authorities have released the name of a man killed in a hunting accident near Lisbon.
Authorities said 53-year-old Wesley Alinder of Lisbon was shot northwest of the city about 90 minutes after the deer season started Friday afternoon. The sheriff’s office said Alinder was with a hunting party, but details on the shooting have not been released.
Sheriff Jim Klinicke said it’s still is under investigation. Officials said it appears to have been accidental.
