JVC improves over the weekend

The Jamestown-Valley City Prowl Pee Wee A hockey team went 2-0-1 over the weekend.

JVC beat Dickinson 8-3, getting goals two goals from Nick Stockert and Spencer Meyer and one goal apiece from Dustin Miller, Jakobi Lux, Robb Kaiser and Tommy Bruns. Assists went to Stockert, Meyer, Miller (two), Lux, Kaiser, Bruns and Brady Hoggarth. Ty Spitzer had 14 saves.

The Prowl recorded a 1-1 tie with the Williston Flyers. Austin Rene scored on an assist from Meyer. Spitzer made 24 saves.

JVC beat Hazen-Beulah 3-1 as Miller, Stockert and Bruns notched goals. Miller and Kaiser each had two assists, while Stocker added one. Spitzer had 13 saves.
