WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) — Williams County law enforcement officers are on the move.
They’re moving into a new law enforcement center, in a process expected to last all week.
The move involves six departments, including Williston police, the area Highway Patrol office, the Williams County Sheriff’s Department and the Northwest Narcotics Task Force.
The police department and its 911 center, as well as the sheriff’s office, are the first to move. The other departments are following during the week.
Sheriff Scott Busching said he hopes the 911 center will be up and running at the new facility by Wednesday. In the meantime, emergency calls are being transferred to the state radio center in Bismarck.
