Authorities seek moose killer

The state Game and Fish Department is looking for whoever killed two moose south of Larimore over the weekend. Department biologist Marty Egeland says a passing hunter found a bull and cow moose shot near Kempton on Sunday. He says the animals probably were shot late Saturday in what he calls a “drive-by” type shooting. He says it’s a senseless act.

LARIMORE, N.D. (AP) — The state Game and Fish Department is looking for whoever killed two moose south of Larimore over the weekend.

Department biologist Marty Egeland says a passing hunter found a bull and cow moose shot near Kempton on Sunday. He says the animals probably were shot late Saturday in what he calls a “drive-by” type shooting. He says it’s a senseless act.

Authorities are offering a reward for information.
