The North Dakota Highway Patrol is advising drivers to use extreme caution and anticipate delays while traveling in central North Dakota today and tonight.
The patrol said recent snowfall combined with warm temperatures is causing many area roads and streets to become very icy. Blowing snow is sticking to exposed roadways, causing conditions to change rapidly. Temperatures are expected to drop later tonight, increasing the likelihood of ice on roads.
