FARGO — A fugitive with ties to Fargo and Willmar, Minn., will be featured on tonight’s episode of “America’s Most Wanted,” along with comment from a recovering methamphetamine addict from Bismarck who will talk about how the drug took over her life.

The program is scheduled to air at 8 p.m. CST on the Fox network.

Curi Caberia Tapia-Martinez, also known as “Taho,” “Primo” and “Papo,” is wanted by federal authorities for conspiracy to distribute drugs and for being part of a continuing criminal enterprise, according to the AMW Web site.

Tapia-Martinez is accused in U.S. District Court of transporting meth from California to rural areas around Fargo and Willmar, according to the Web site.

The program features comments from a number of area law enforcement officers, including a Moorhead police sergeant.

The show also features an appearance by Jodi Richter, Bismarck, who talks about her experience with meth addiction.

She told AMW she once had a gun held to her head and didn’t care.

“My only priority was drugs,” the AMW Web site quotes Richter as saying.

In an interview with The Forum earlier this year, Richter credited North Dakota Teen Challenge, a faith-based treatment program, with helping her beat her meth addiction.

“They teach you some amazing life skills. I never dreamed it would change my life like it has,” she said.
