Jari Chevalier, a New York native who is currently working with the James-town Arts Center as the artist in residence, presented the program at the meeting. She conducts the Arts After School Program where she stresses creativity and art. She talked about how to cultivate the artistic ability in students. Chevalier encourages sensitivity and empathy and her goal is to give the students an opportunity to uncover their talents.
