Twelve Jamestown College athletes have been named Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes.
Ali Edwards of West Fargo, Chandra Groves of Saskatoon, Sask., Kirsti Lukens and Lauren Wieler of Colonsay, Sask., were cited from the JC volleyball team.
Rachel Bickford of LaMoure, Alyssa Bossler from Helena, Mont., Valerie Wahl of Hannaford and Alexandra Woodruff of Overland Park, Kan., were named from the Jimmie cross country teams.
Lauren Cottom of Brandon, Manitoba, and Maria Lammi of Cloquet, Minn., earned honors from the JC women’s volleyball team.
Men’s soccer players cited were Filip Peno of Belgrade, Serbia, and Sawley Wilde of Gillette, Wyo.
