FARGO (AP) — A 31-year veteran of the Grand Forks Police Department has been hired to be the next director of the Red River Regional Dispatch Center in Fargo.
Lt. Byron Sieber will start his new duties the first week of January.
He’ll succeed Kathy Colvin, who resigned in May after questions about morale and performance.
The regional dispatch center serves law enforcement and emergency services agencies in Cass County and Minnesota’s Clay County. It handles about 200,000 calls a year.
