No armed robbery as suspected in Fargo

Police say a man with a gun was spotted leaving a north Fargo fast food restaurant and they thought they were dealing with an armed robbery, but it didn’t turn out that way.

FARGO (AP) — Police say a man with a gun was spotted leaving a north Fargo fast food restaurant and they thought they were dealing with an armed robbery, but it didn’t turn out that way.

Sergeant Glen Hanson said the suspect ran into the Fargodome, where he asked staff members for a bandage. Police arrived and arrested him at gunpoint. They found a pellet-type gun and a bag of marijuana.
