Lion President Dwaine Heinrich called the Dec. 10 Lions meeting to order at the Bistro Cafe. The meeting started late because of the ongoing board meeting. The meeting was well attended (22 members).
There was discussion and planning regarding two upcoming club projects. Lions will be handling the United Services blood drive today and Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Members should call Steve Thompson if they have not been scheduled to work. Tom Sanders will include a list of members and times they are scheduled to work to this report. The club will also be working on Wednesday and Dec. 23 doing bell ringing for the Salvation Army. Harold Trautman is in charge of this project; call him for information. Trautman said during the meeting that the dollars collected on Dec. 23 will be matched by another donor.
In addition, Heinrich wanted to reactivate the calling committee for the club. Sue Stoudt, Shelley Nannenga, John Lokemoen and Tony Karsky offered to serve on this committee.
