Marcil receives honorary doctorate from UND
The University of North Dakota held ceremonies Friday for about 775 graduates.
GRAND FORKS (AP) — The University of North Dakota held ceremonies Friday for about 775 graduates.
William Marcil, the chief executive officer of Forum Communications Co., the keynote speaker, was awarded an honorary doctorate of letters degree in recognition of his career in publishing and journalism.
The Rolette native graduated from UND in 1958 with a degree in business administration.
