Letter to the editor: Questions on Obama’s place of birth not credible
A news bulletin to Diana West of The Washington Times in response to her recent column that questions Barack Obama’s place of birth: The election is over. Obama is the president-elect. If there was any question about his place of birth, it would have been used by Sen. Hillary Clinton in the hard-fought primary campaign or by Sen. John McCain in the intensely contested general election. No one with a shred of credibility is questioning Obama’s place of birth.By: Charles Linderman, Carrington, N.D., The Jamestown Sun

A question to the editorial board of The Jamestown Sun: Why do you expend ink and newsprint on the ridiculous nonsense that usually spews from the mind of Diana West and The Washington Times?
For your readers’ information, The Washington Times was established and is owned by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, founder of a cult called the Unification Church. He subsidizes the newspaper with billions of dollars to spread his ideas.
Moon claims to be the messiah and the second coming of Christ. He is married to his third wife, whom he married when he was 40 years old and she was 17. She is called “true mother,” they are called “true parents,” and their children are called True Children. They live a lavish lifestyle while requiring their cult followers to sacrifice. Moon has served prison time on tax charges. And that is only part of his shady story.
Please find rational columnists with real issues for your opinion page, be they liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican. I know there are some out there.
