U-14 girls improve mark to 9-2-1

The Jamestown-Valley City Prowl split two games over the weekend, beating West Fargo 1-0 and falling to the Bismarck Avalanche.

The Prowl blanked West Fargo on Saturday to extend their winning streak to eight games. Carissa Finck recorded her fifth shutout of the season, stopping all 29 shots sent at her. Amber Schaack scored the lone goal of the game.

The Bismarck Avalanche snapped the Prowl’s streak on Sunday with an 8-0 win. Finck stopped 23 shots as they fell to 9-2-1 on the season.
