Blowing snow is causing drifting near structures and sheltered areas. These drifts have the potential to become deep. Motorists may come upon them unexpectedly and are encouraged to use caution. Roadways in some areas may become reduced to one-lane traffic tonight and into tomorrow.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution, monitor road conditions, and reduce traffic speeds while travel-ing. For up-to-date information, call 511 from any type of phone or go to the Web site www.511.nd.gov for road and weather conditions.
If motorists become stranded they should stay with their vehicle and call 911 for emergency assistance.
