Barnes County tourney pairings announced

The pairings for next week’s Barnes County boys’ basketball tournament have been announced. The tournament is set to get underway on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at Valley City State’s W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse.

The tournament will begin at 3 p.m. with No. 1-seeded Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page facing No. 8-seeded Barnes County North. At 4:45 p.m., Northern Cass (No. 4) will play Milnor (No. 5).

Immediately following the Northern Cass/Milnor contest, No. 2-seeded Enderlin will square off with No. 7-seeded Griggs County Central. The first day of the tournament will wrap up at 8:15 p.m., when Litchville-Marion-Montpelier (No. 3) is scheduled to face Maple Valley (No. 6).

The tournament will resume on Friday, Jan. 16 with semifinal action, and will conclude Saturday, January 17. Games begin at 3 p.m. on each day of the tournament.
