The Jamestown Valley-City Prowl Pee Wee Green team went 2-1 en route to the consolation championship at a tournament in Crookston, Minn., last weekend.
The Jamestown Valley-City Prowl Pee Wee Green team went 2-1 en route to the consolation championship at a tournament in Crookston, Minn., last weekend.
After losing their opening game 8-0, the Prowl defeated Detroit Lakes (Minn.) 5-4 in triple overtime. Jared Schultz and Austen Meyer each scored twice. Sam Grugel had a goal and an assist.
In the fifth-place game, the Prowl skated past Crookston 6-1, getting a pair of goals from Nick Schaack and Kade Young. Meyer and Grugel also lit the lamp. Meyer and Eric Milender earned assists.
