S.D. man pleads guilty to scalding baby
A 31-year-old Rapid City man has acknowledged that he scalded his 4-month-old baby with bath water.
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — A 31-year-old Rapid City man has acknowledged that he scalded his 4-month-old baby with bath water.
The Pennington County state’s attorney said Mitchell Yellow Wolf pleaded guilty Monday to aggravated child abuse. The boy suffered second-degree burns on much of his body in September, was flown to a Denver hospital for treatment and has recovered.
The maximum sentence against Yellow Wolf is 15 years in prison.
