Douty places third at state hoop shoot
The North Dakota State Elks Hoop Shoot was held on Saturday in Jamestown with 30 competitors representing seven lodges in the state. Jamestown had one winner: Dawson Douty finished third in the boys’ 8-9 division.

Other local winners that competed in the state event were Paxton Kleinknecht, Emily Reiten, Nick Fuchs and Erin Mullowney.
