We, the members of the Gackle-Streeter High School ecology class, are concerned about the recycling center issue for the entire community. We believe it is very important to have a recycling center to keep the community and the environment clean, not only for the Jamestown community, but also for the surrounding areas.
We propose that the city of Jamestown could pull together and have a fundraiser or use grants to reopen the recycling center, once again. They could also use energy more efficiently or do whatever it takes in order to cut expenses.
Let’s all work together so that we can keep the recycling center open and save our environment!
