Moose blocks interstate traffic east of Jamestown

A moose blocked Interstate 94 traffic near the borders of Stutsman and Barnes Counties, according to initial scanner reports at 12:15 p.m. today.

A moose blocked Interstate 94 traffic near the borders of Stutsman and Barnes Counties today, according to initial scanner reports at 12:15 p.m., but left the roads by the time officials got there.

Officials did not know which lane the moose was in, but North Dakota State Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene near mile marker 270.
