Blue Jay girls hold down No. 4 spot in ‘A’ poll
Jamestown High School remains ranked fourth in the latest Class A girls’ basketball poll. There are no changes to the top five, after the Blue Jays (8-3) snapped fifth-ranked Mandan’s 69-game home winning streak Jan. 29 and loss to the third-ranked Bismarck Demons (9-3) on Jan. 31. The Blue Jays host Turtle Mountain (7-5) on Saturday.

Fargo South (14-0) is still No. 1, getting all seven first-place votes. Bismarck Century remains at No. 2 despite a 17-point loss (60-43) to Mandan Tuesday night.
There was a significant shakeup in the boys’ poll. Only unbeaten and top-ranked Mandan is in the same place as last week.
Fargo North jumped from No. 5 to second. Wahpeton went from being unranked to No. 3. West Fargo is fourth, while Williston fell from No. 2 to No. 5 after two losses last week.

BISMARCK (AP) — This week’s North Dakota Class A basketball polls compiled by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. Each team is followed by first-place votes in parentheses, records, previous ranking and total points.
