Marina work under way at park
The manager of Fort Stevenson State Park says work has started on a new marina after a change in contractors. Fort Stevenson Manager Dick Messerly said he’s not sure when the marina will be finished.
GARRISON, N.D. (AP) — The manager of Fort Stevenson State Park says work has started on a new marina after a change in contractors.
Fort Stevenson Manager Dick Messerly said he’s not sure when the marina will be finished.
The work has been behind schedule. The Army Corps of Engineers fired the original contractor and hired another company.
Messerly said he expects that with the projected runoff this year, the park will have two marinas in use.
