MINOT (AP) — Minot Air Force Base says it added nearly $383 million to the local economy in fiscal 2008.

The annual report is done by the 5th Bomb Wing Comptroller Squadron. Lt. Col. Donald Brewer said the report also shows the Air Force’s commitment to the base.

Minot Air Force Base has slightly fewer than 11,000 personnel, with an annual payroll of $241 million and total annual expenditures of more than $88 million.
