MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota coach Tim Brewster has another assistant’s job to fill. Wide receivers coach George McDonald has left the program to take a position in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns.

“Good people are always in high demand, and George did a fantastic job for us here,” Brewster said in a news release Tuesday announcing the move.

Brewster has begun a search for McDonald’s replacement. The Gophers have already hired new offensive and defensive coordinators this winter.
