R.M. Stoudt incurs smoke damage Saturday

Firefighters from the Jamestown Fire Department used fans to clear smoke and soot Saturday from R.M. Stoudt, Inc. located at 800 23rd St. S.W. after a possible malfunction in a boiler, according to sources at Stoudt’s.
Fire crews cleared the scene at about 7:30 a.m.
“There is smoke and soot through the entire building,” said Bob Wahl, assistant service manager. “We’re not sure what caused it but the fire department put in some fans and cleared it all out.”
