Killdeer memorial wall close to reality
Organizers of a veterans memorial wall in Dunn County say they’ve raised about two-thirds of the estimated $110,000 cost.
KILLDEER, N.D. (AP) — Organizers of a veterans memorial wall in Dunn County say they’ve raised about two-thirds of the estimated $110,000 cost.
The memorial wall would be near the proposed site of the High Plains Cultural Center in Killdeer, though it’s not connected to that project.
Committee member Dean Bergstedt said the black granite wall would be 40 feet wide and 7 feet high, with names of hundreds of veterans engraved on it.
