Airport board creates working group to deal with terminal design

The Jamestown Regional Airport Authority named three of its members to a working group to deal with design issues for the new terminal during a special meeting Tuesday.

The Jamestown Regional Airport Authority named three of its members to a working group to deal with design issues for the new terminal during a special meeting Tuesday.

The authority designated Johnny Klingenberg, chairman of the authority, Jim Boyd, vice chairman of the authority, and Merle Bingham to deal with any design questions raised by engineers or architects working on the project.

However, the appointments came after board members expressed concern that Klingenberg and Boyd had already met with architects in an official capacity.
