The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a no-travel advisory for much of central and eastern North Dakota, including highways in the Jamestown, Cooperstown and Valley City areas. The advisory also includes Interstate 94 from Jamestown to Fargo and Interstate 29 from Fargo to Buxton, N.D.

Heavy snow and blowing snow have reduced visibility in areas and caused compacted snow and ice to form on roadways, creating unsafe conditions for drivers.
