No-travel advisory expands in N.D.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation issued a no-travel advisory around 2:50 p.m. today for portions of center and eastern North Dakota. The advisory includes highways in the Jamestown, Cooperstown, Valley City, Casselton, Fargo, Hillsboro and Mayville.

The advisory includes highways in the Jamestown, Cooperstown, Valley City, Casselton, Fargo, Hillsboro and Mayville. This also includes Interstate 94 from Jamestown to Fargo and Interstate 29 from Fargo to Buxton.

The DOT said blowing snow is reducing visibility and areas of icy patches and compacted snow on the roadways are creating hazardous driving conditions.

No travel is advised on I-29 from the S.D. line to Jct. N.D. 11, Christine to 52nd Avenue Fargo, 52nd Ave. Fargo to Cass County interchange, Main Avenue to Buxton exit.

On I-94, no travel is also advised from Tappen to West Fargo interchange.

On Highway 200, no travel is advised from Glenfield to Juction Highway 32 Finley to Junction N.D. 18, Mayville to I-29 and junction 1-29 to the Minnesota line.
