BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota is getting about $42,000 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the southern part of the state.
The money is through the federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program.
A national board chaired by the Federal Emergency Management Agency distributes the funds. The goal is to expand the capacity of food and shelter programs in high-need areas around the country.
Food pantries and shelters in southern North Dakota can apply with the American Red Cross in Bismarck.
