Man accused of neglecting cattle
A man is facing charges in Mercer County after authorities seized more than 120 cattle.
STANTON, N.D. (AP) — A man is facing charges in Mercer County after authorities seized more than 120 cattle.
Jonathan Voss, of the Halliday area, is accused of depriving the cattle of food, water or shelter and allowing the animals to “run at large,” on land that did not belong to him.
Authorities in Mercer and Dunn counties seized 127 cattle last month after the animals were found in poor condition. They said five of the cattle died.
