The Dakota Athletic Conference champions were eliminated in the semifinals of the NAIA Division II national tournament on Monday night in Point Lookout, Mo.

No. 1 seed Oklahoma Wesleyan defeated Black Hills State 85-72.

The Jackets led 46-45 at the half, but OWU clamped down defensively in the second half, holding Black Hills to 26 points on 25.8 percent (8 for 31) shooting over the final 20 minutes.

Steve Briggs scored 33 points and Mike McNeil 21 points and nine rebounds for Oklahoma Wesleyan (34-2).

Clay Pottorff and Luke Enos each had 16 points for Black Hills, which ended its season at 30-5. Pottorff also had a team-high eight rebounds.
