Farmers Union lunch today

The North Dakota Farmers Union is organizing a lunch today at its state office in Jamestown to collect nonperishable food items for local food pantries.

The lunch will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the office, 1415 12th Ave. S.E. The meal of beef stew, bread and drinks costs $5, but $1 will be deducted from the price for every nonperishable food item donated. The meal will be free for anyone who brings five items.
