Lang to speak at Lenten service
Brian Lang, professor in the Jamestown College religion/philosophy de-partment, will speak at the next community Lenten worship service on Wed-nesday. The service will be held at the Basilica of St. James, 622 First Ave. S.
Brian Lang, professor in the Jamestown College religion/philosophy de-partment, will speak at the next community Lenten worship service on Wed-nesday. The service will be held at the Basilica of St. James, 622 First Ave. S.
The theme focuses on “Living It Up in Down Times: Finding Christ in the Crisis.” The theme addresses finding hope amid the tough economic times the U.S. is currently facing.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. for a freewill donation. The service will begin at 12:20 p.m. The offering given during these services will be designated for Safe Shelter and James-town Hospice.
Everyone is invited to these worship services that are sponsored by the Jamestown Ministerial Association.
