Thomas “Tom” A. Lytle, 67, Houston, Texas, formerly of Jamestown

Thomas “Tom” A. Lytle, 67, Houston, Texas, formerly of Jamestown, died Tuesday, March 3, 2009, in Houston.

Mr. Lytle was born Aug. 14, 1940, in Jamestown, the son of John A. and Mae Laura Lytle. He grew up and attended school in Jamestown. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1958. After he served four years in the Air Force he returned to Jamestown. He married Shan. He moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended the University of Utah where he majored in biology. He worked with the Utah Game and Fish Department. He moved to Colorado where he worked until he retired in 1996. He then worked with Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Safari Club International.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Tom (Kris) and Matt (Rhonda); a daughter, Laura; and four granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Jack, Bill, Jim and Marvin Wallum.
