MINOT (AP) — Officials say a fire at the Northern Livestock Auction in Minot may have started from an engine heater.

No one was hurt in the Thursday night blaze, which broke out in a storage building.

Minot Fire Department Battalion Chief Tim Beach said the fire might have been started by an engine heater plugged into a Bobcat skid-steer loader.

Beach said the Bobcat and a car in the building were damaged, but the building itself is still standing.
