Hgihway 13 west of LaMoure closes

The North Dakota Department of Transportation closed Highway 13 west of LaMoure, N.D. Monday, according to Sheri Gartner, LaMoure County director of emergency services.
The road had been open to local traffic, but is now closed because of safety concerns with the heavy equipment working in the area. The DOT has not identified an official detour. Volunteers reporting to LaMoure for sandbagging operations will need to enter town from the north or east.
