UND AgCam to become operational
A sophisticated camera built at the University of North Dakota and blasted into space aboard the space shuttle Endeavor is set to start working. UND said the AgCam is to become operational Tuesday. It was taken to the International Space Station last November. The camera is to send back high-resolution pictures and information about the Earth that can be used by farmers and scientists.
GRAND FORKS (AP) — A sophisticated camera built at the University of North Dakota and blasted into space aboard the space shuttle Endeavor is set to start working.
UND said the AgCam is to become operational Tuesday. It was taken to the International Space Station last November.
