Ward requests aid in snow removal cost
Ward County Highway Engineer Dana Larsen says his county’s snow removal expenses between November and March totaled just over $1 million — and that’s not counting cities or townships. Requests for federal aid for snow removal have been declined. County Commissioner Jerome Gruenberg said the snow cannot be tied to damage from spring flooding, which is still being tallied.
