Releases from Jamestown Reservoir were reduced late this afternoon due to high winds, according to the Army Corps of Engineers.

Releases were reduced by 100 cfs from 1,800 cfs to 1,700 cfs at 4 p.m. This reduction was made because high winds raised the level of the reservoir to the spillway crest and wave action caused minor spillway discharges.

Releases from Jamestown Reservoir were reduced another 100 cfs from 1,700 cfs to 1,600 cfs at 5:30 p.m. The reservoir had raised 0.6 feet to 1,454.1 feet from the high winds. The spillway crest is at 1,454 feet.
