NORTHWOOD, N.D. (AP) — Northwood school officials are considering whether to make the superintendent’s job part time to save money.
A Monday night meeting is scheduled to discuss it.
School Board member Erik Thorsgard said the board has no problems with Superintendent Kevin Coles. He said the budget is the problem.
Coles started as superintendent in the summer of 2007, less than a month before a tornado ripped through Northwood and destroyed the school. Students have been sharing facilities with the Hatton school nearby until a new $14 million school is finished next month.
Northwood has about 280 students.
